2-stolid: unemotional

4-suspended: temporarily prevent from continuing 

5-transformed: to change in form, appearance, or structure; metamorphose.

6-accuse: to charge with the fault, offense, or crime (usually followed by of)

 7-anticipate: to realize beforehand; foretaste or foresee

8-fringe: a decorative border of thread, cord

9-melancholy: a gloomy state of mind, especially when habitual or prolonged; depression

10-earnestly: serious in intention, purpose, or effort; sincerely zealous

11-dissolve: to make a solution of, as by mixing with a liquid

12-aggravate: to make worse or more severe; intensify, as anything evil to aggravate a grievance

15-proboscis: the nose of a mammal, especially when it is long and mobile, such as the trunk of an elephant.

This was not the last day of research, i originally went over my notes, resources, but there is something missing my contacts! Alin how am i supposed to contact your professor in Mexico i don't even know him.  I do know his name however, Elmer Garcia adonde esta? It would be helpful if he personally told me how the school system in Mexico actually works.

The Earth On Turtle's Back

Let me just say this is the most amazing thing I've read besides the poem "Richard Cory"! This reading starts off by describing how only water existed before the earth did. Next, it talks about a the wife of  an ancient chief and how she has a dream about a tree. The woman then tells the chief about her dream and he demands to have it removed so it gets removed by the man himself. As his wife leans over to take a look at the trees' inside she slips and falls in as she holds the seeds she was going to use. As in the beginning was explained there were animals living in the water. This is what captures the lady's attention the thought of her seeing water inside the trees' trunk and that is why she falls in. The animals and birds inside the tree see the woman falling in so two swans decide to help her, they then think she is not like them and that she must live on earth. They believe the earth is under the water so they send each animal to get it but only one gets...
